Riding Holidays at Carreg-y-big Farm and Oswestry Equestrian Centre  Oswestry Equestrian Centre forms an integral part of Carreg-y-big farm and is available for livery holidays, so why not bring yourself, your friends and your horses for a truly wonderful holiday break and enjoy the facilities which include indoor and outdoor schools and an abundance of safe hacking in our glorious picturesque Shropshire rolling hills and forestry commission tracks. A cross country course is also planned for completion in 2007.
We can also organise an itinerary for your holiday, including accompanied hacking, Dressage, Show Jumping or Cross Country training. We will look after you and your horse to ensure you both enjoy your well deserved holiday. Our Riding Holiday package includes: For you: Bed and Breakfast and dinner in our B&B and full use of our accommodation facilities, including guest lounge with TV, DVD and Video. Several board games and puzzles are also provided for your use. Your kitchen is provided with a washing machine, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster and a packed lunch is provided each day. At the end of your day you can relax, knowing your horse is well looked after and look forward to your evening. We will cook you an evening meal or BBQ served in your dining room or on our terraced patio where you can also enjoy our wonderful views and plan your next day’s activities. We can also organise an itinerary for your holiday, including Accompanied Hacking, Dressage, Show Jumping or Cross Country training as required. (By prior arrangement). For Your Horse: Separate stabling, turnout if required, water, bedding, hay / haylage and general hard feed are provided for your horse. Our caring and attentive staff will muck out your stable whilst you are enjoying your daily activities. Charges:
£65 per adult and horse per night. (Additional itinerary at extra cost). £45 per child (under 14) and pony per night. (Must be accompanied by an adult). Holiday Livery: We accept horses for holiday livery whilst you enjoy a break or your own holiday with family and friends. Charge: £105 per week.
