Registered BHS Assistant Instructor (BHSAI). Sarah was inspired to try the art of side saddle riding in 1990 when her mother discovered an article in an equine magazine. She embarked on her first side saddle lesson with Mark White (BHSII) and in 1993, enhanced her side saddle skills by training with Roger Philpot and was awarded her “B” panel Side Saddle Instructor’s certificate. She eventually gained the highest competency grade (IV+) in 1997 and became a side saddle panel ride Judge in 2003. Her first appearance at the National Side Saddle Championships was at Malvern, Worcestershire in 1993 and since then she has trained numerous riders including teaching a group of ladies in Italy. She has also successfully competed in many national competitions.  Sarah and her horse Kharlo, have been successful at many county shows and currently hold the title of national side saddle dressage champion. Sarah and Kharlo are also proud title winners of many area perpetual trophies for dressage, jumping, showing, equitation and overall champion. Most of these have been held for the third consecutive year.
Sarah is available for bookings at Oswestry Equestrian Centre where she teaches both Astride and Side Saddle. Charges including school hire: Astride Instruction: Side Saddle Instruction: Private lesson Half hour: £23.00 Half hour: £28.00
